What to Wear to Your Son When You’re Invited to a Formal Event
It’s important when you’re invited to a wedding or another sort of formal event to know what you are going to wear to your son. Well have you considered putting together a smart suit ensemble? There are many fun and smart suit designs for children that are not only trendy but comfortable. You can even get smart short tuxedos for toddlers.
The majority of these designs are made with children in mind and so have adaptive Velcro fastenings and elasticated waists which makes them easy to put on and take off. Blazers are also available for kids but if you feel that they may be too restrictive why not opt for a v neck tank top instead?
There are kids ties that are clip on’s. This means that they are easy to put on and take off. If you are particularly concerned about the safety of your child with an actual wrap around tie then this is perhaps the best option.
If you son is particularly into his comic hero’s then why not look around for a Spiderman, Batman or even Mickey Mouse tie to get him into the habit of looking smart? There are plenty of other themed neckties that are available including football patterned ties, soccer patterned ties, musical, smiley faces, baseball, basketball and even Winnie the Pooh.
Dressing smart and looking the part is a great way to show that you care about your children’s appearance. When they receive compliments about how smart they look it should hopefully have a positive effect on them too and give them more confidence.

That is so true, I remember when my sister-in-law and I with my nephew were invited on a formal gathering. She was this attitude that she’ll have to dress up his son first before she dress herself. It took us about 3hours to dress up, just the 3 of us. LOL. Seriously, your post is true and I hope more moms will care about their children’s dress up, like my sister-in-law.

According to me I will prefer to wear a formal suit to my son in a formal party because personality reflects your thoughts and etiquette
My wife does the same, first get our son ready and then herself, i guess its true it reflects your personality.
I would always recommend to choose the shorts and t-shirt.
Will never dress my boy in that foolish and stupid ties.

I think dress pants and a dress shirt is at least the minimum you should do. A tie might be a good idea as well.
