You should definitely take a multivitamin
Research is now showing that it is beneficial for the majority of adults to take a multivitamin each day. Vitamins come from all different sources, and while we pay more attention to certain types of multivitamins in different stages of life, such as those with more calcium once we hit the age of 40 or 50, everybody really should be taking a multivitamin.
Most of us don’t have the best diets, and while you should definitely take a multivitamin for example if you’ve had gastric bypass surgery, because your body is actually less able to absorb the vitamins, you should always take one anyway. But most people don’t see the appeal.
Scientists have discovered evidence showing that vitamins do not just keep away deficiency diseases such as rickets and scurvy. Taking more than the minimum daily requirements of certain vitamins may avert the onset of chronic diseases including osteoporosis, cancer, and heart disease.
